Permission to Record and Document

I voluntarily agree to participate in a NORTHBOUND interview, oral history, feature story, photography session, video recording, audio recording, or other storytelling project.

I grant NORTHBOUND and its representatives permission to record, photograph, film, transcribe, edit, and document my participation and any materials I voluntarily provide.

 

Permission to Publish

I grant NORTHBOUND a perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, publish, distribute, display, archive, and share my interview, oral history, photographs, audio recordings, video recordings, written submissions, and related materials in whole or in part.

 

This permission includes use in:

• NORTHBOUND articles and features

• Digital and print publications

• Newsletters

• Websites

• Social media platforms

• Podcasts

• Videos

• Exhibitions

• Educational materials

• Presentations

• Public programs

• Future archival projects

 

Oral History Archive

I understand that NORTHBOUND is creating an archive to preserve the stories, histories, experiences, and contributions of individuals and communities throughout North Texas.

I grant permission for my interview and related materials to be preserved within the NORTHBOUND Archive and to be made available for future educational, cultural, historical, and journalistic purposes.

 

Ownership and Rights

I understand that I retain ownership of my personal story and experiences.

I acknowledge that NORTHBOUND owns its recordings, transcripts, photographs, written works, editorial content, and compiled archive materials created as part of this project.

I understand that I may continue to tell and share my own story independently.

 

Accuracy and Participation

I affirm that the information I provide is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge.

I understand that submission, interview participation, or nomination does not guarantee publication or feature placement.

 

Release of Claims

I release and hold harmless NORTHBOUND, its employees, volunteers, contractors, partners, successors, and assigns from any claims arising from the lawful use of materials authorized by this release.

By participating in a NORTHBOUND feature or oral history project, you are helping preserve the stories, leadership, culture, and legacy of North Texas for future generations.
